Planting Instructions

• Position: Thrives in a warm, sunny location receiving at least 6–8 hours of direct sun daily. Prefers rich, fertile, free-draining soil heavily amended with well-rotted organic matter or compost.
• Transplanting: Handle carefully to avoid root shock. Plant slightly deeper than it sat in its nursery cell, burying the stem up to its lowest leaves to encourage a deeper, stronger root system.
• Depth & Spacing: Space plants 50–60 cm apart in rows 80–90 cm apart. As an indeterminate (climbing) variety, install a sturdy 1.8 m stake or cage at planting time to support tall growth and heavy truss production.
• Watering: Water deeply and consistently at the base of the plant to keep the soil evenly moist. Avoid overhead watering to reduce the risk of foliage disease.
• Harvest: Harvest after 10–12 weeks as trusses ripen to a uniform bright red and yield gently to a soft touch.
