General Elixir Dosing Guidelines:

Adults 

  • Standard dose: 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 mL), 1–2x daily as a tonic.


Children

Always start low

  • 1–3 years → 1 mL (about ¼ teaspoon), once daily
  • 4–7 years → 2 mL (½ teaspoon), 1–2x daily
  • 8–12 years → 5 mL (1 teaspoon), 1–2x daily
  • 13–17 years → 7.5 mL (1½ teaspoons), 1–2x daily


Ways to Take It

  • Mixed in a small glass of water or sparkling water.
  • Added to warm water as a soothing tea-like drink.
  • In a little extra honey/lemon water for flavour (especially for kids or those sensitive to herbal taste).
