Planting Instructions

• Position: Thrives in full sun to light partial afternoon shade in moist, fertile, well-draining soil heavily enriched with organic compost.
• Transplanting: Carefully handle seedlings to keep the root ball intact, easing them gently from their nursery cells.
• Depth & Spacing: Plant at the same depth as the nursery cell, keeping the central growing crown just above the soil surface. Space plants 20–25 cm apart.
• Watering: Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist. Adequate moisture prevents bittering and keeps the dense foliage lush and green.
• Harvest: Harvest individual outer stems near the base as needed using a "cut-and-come-again" method, allowing new growth to emerge continuously from the central crown.
