Planting Instructions

• Position: Thrives in full sun to light partial shade in moist, fertile, free-draining soil heavily enriched with organic compost.
• Transplanting: Carefully ease seedlings from their cells to keep the taproot intact during planting.
• Depth & Spacing: Plant at the same depth as the nursery cell, ensuring the central crown remains above soil level. Space plants 20–25 cm apart in rows 30 cm apart.
• Watering: Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during hot weather, to encourage continuous leaf production and delay bolting.
• Harvest: Harvest outer stems as needed by cutting near the base of the plant once stems reach 15 cm tall, allowing inner leaves to keep growing from the central crown.
