One of oldest, most popular salad vegetables, spread from India in ancient times and enjoying a resurgence.  A classic garden favorite, Cucumber 'Lebanese' is renowned for producing high yields of crisp, sweet, smooth-skinned cucumbers with a mild, non-bitter flavor. The thin, tender skin requires no peeling, making them perfect for fresh slicing, salads, tzatziki, or healthy snacking straight off the vine. Vigorous and fast-growing, this variety produces abundantly throughout the warm growing season.

Planting Instructions

• Position: Plant in a warm, sunny position in fertile, well-draining soil heavily amended with compost or well-rotted manure.
• Transplanting: Cucumbers have sensitive root systems, so handle seedlings gently during transplanting and avoid disturbing the root ball.
• Depth & Spacing: Plant at the exact depth the seedling was sitting in its nursery container. Space plants 40–50 cm apart. Train onto a trellis or tripod for cleaner fruit and better airflow, or allow them to spread as ground vines.
• Watering: Water deeply and consistently around the root zone, keeping foliage dry to minimize the risk of powdery mildew. Irregular watering can affect fruit flavour and development
• Harvest: Pick regularly when fruits reach 10–15 cm long for maximum sweetness and crunch. Frequent harvesting encourages a continuous supply of fresh cucumbers.
