Planting Instructions

• Position: Requires a warm, sheltered spot in full sun (6–8 hours daily) in fertile, well-draining soil heavily amended with compost or well-rotted manure.
• Transplanting: Handle carefully to avoid disturbing the root system. You can bury the stem slightly deeper than it was sitting in the nursery pot, as roots will develop along the buried stem to create a stronger anchorage.
• Depth & Spacing: Space plants 50–60 cm apart. Provide a sturdy stake, trellis, or tomato cage at planting time to support the heavy, vining growth and keep fruit off the ground.
• Watering: Water deeply and regularly at the base of the plant to keep soil moisture even. Avoid wetting the leaves to prevent fungal diseases like blight. Mulch well to retain soil moisture.
• Harvest: Pick tomatoes when they reach full, vibrant color and yield slightly to gentle pressure. Regular harvesting encourages the plant to keep producing new fruit until the end of the season.
