Our PCOS Elixir is thoughtfully formulated to support women dealing with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a common hormonal condition that affects menstrual cycles, ovulation, skin health, and fertility. This blend includes herbs traditionally used to regulate cycles, balance hormones, reduce excess androgens, and support liver detoxification—all vital components of managing PCOS naturally.
Key Ingredients:
- Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris): A well-known emmenagogue, mugwort supports healthy and regular menstruation and helps stimulate the uterus, aiding those with irregular or missed periods.
- Spearmint (Mentha spicata): Clinically studied for its ability to lower androgen (testosterone) levels, spearmint can help improve symptoms such as acne, hair loss, and hirsutism (excess hair).
- Schisandra (Schisandra chinensis): A powerful adaptogen and liver tonic, schisandra enhances liver detoxification of excess hormones and supports adrenal balance, reducing stress-related hormonal disruption.
Medicinal Properties:
- Hormonal Regulation: Spearmint and mugwort help regulate menstrual cycles, reduce androgen dominance, and encourage healthy ovulation.
- Liver Detoxification: Schisandra supports phase I and phase II liver detox pathways, which is crucial for the proper breakdown of excess estrogen and androgens in PCOS.
- Adrenal & Stress Support: Schisandra’s adaptogenic properties help moderate cortisol levels and reduce the impact of chronic stress on hormonal health.
- Digestive & Uterine Tonic: Mugwort tones the uterus and enhances digestive flow, which is often sluggish in PCOS.
Our PCOS Elixir offers natural hormonal support for women navigating the complexities of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. With a focus on hormonal balance, detoxification, and adrenal support, this herbal formula is designed to gently assist your body in restoring rhythm, vitality, and overall hormonal harmony.
