Lady’s Mantle is highly regarded as a herb to help women with excess menstrual bleeding. It has also been traditionally used for colitis with bleeding and for diarrhoea. Lady’s Mantle is a herb that has been used to treat excessive bleeding from any cause and for unwanted or excessive discharges in general but it’s very specific indications are officially for ‘excessive menstruation and for non-menstrual bleeding of the womb.

And, do you know that even if you do not find much about its hair and skin benefits, you can use it for youthful skin and great looking hair?  The antioxidant in the herb can help to get rid of free radicals and ensure your skin’s elasticity is maintained for a long time.   Lady's Mantle is also great for treating skin infection,  eczema, skin rashes, stings and bites. Just make a poultice of the herb and apply it on the affected part of your skin and let it work its magic.

Long time ago, there was a myth associated with lady’s mantle. People believed that the herb had the ability to restore a woman’s virginity. This folklore has made its way into modern times and the leaves are used even today on nursing mothers, particularly on their breast and stomach, to reduce the visible signs of childbirth.

Glycetracts are made without using alcohol for the extraction of the herb. They are made from Glycerol, distilled water and herbs. The glycerol used is vegetable sourced. Glycetracts are suitable for people who need to avoid any alcohol (e.g. young children, recovering alcoholics and those with liver distress).
