Horny Goat Weed

Horny goat weed is the common name for the plant known as Epimedium, which is used in traditional Chinese herbal medicine as a tonic, an aphrodisiac, and an antirheumatic agent. 

Currently, there are limited clinical studies on horny goat weed. However, anecdotal observations, coupled with some evidence from animal and cellular studies, suggests that horny goat weed may:

• Increase testosterone production
• Increase estrogen levels, particularly in post-menopausal women
• Improve libido
• Promote blood circulation
• Normalise cortisol levels, a stress hormone that can depress the sex drive
• Prevent bone loss
