Goldenrod is a perennial herb native to Europe, Asia, and North America, celebrated for its vibrant spikes of yellow flowers that bloom in late summer. Often misunderstood as a cause of hay fever (a role usually played by the inconspicuous Ragweed), Goldenrod is actually a highly valued medicinal plant. It has a long-standing history in Western herbalism as a premier kidney and urinary tract tonic, known for its "gluing" or wound-healing properties—hence its botanical name Solidago, which means "to make whole."

Medicinal Uses
